Our Leaders

Elders serve the church of Christ  as biblical leadership, spiritual guidance, and protection, following New Testament patterns. Elders, also called shepherds or overseers, guide the congregation, care for members' spiritual welfare, protect against false teaching, and direct the church as a whole, acting as a servant-leadership body according to scripture. They are appointed to ensure the body operates according to God's design, focusing on discipleship, and edifying the body of believers.

Currently, the brethren at Pikeville do not have elders. The faithful men of the congregation have the responsibility to oversee the work of the church until an eldership can be established.
